Alexithymia and Fetal Attachment in Expectant Fathers

Introduction: Although studies mostly focus on mothers, fathers also experience emotional problems and bond with their unborn babies in the antenatal period. The aim of this study is to examine alexithymia fetal attachment expectant fathers.
 Methods: was carried out online via social media 145 fathers. Data were collected using Toronto Alexithymia Scale-20, Paternal Antenatal Attachment Scale.
 Results: prevalence 24.8%. scores university graduates had lower, while those insufficient income who have two or more children found less total scores. A significant negative relationship between scores.
 Conclusion: Fathers alexithymic characteristics tend fetus. Supporting features may positively affect
